Course Overview:

This course reviews the key concepts in Maintenance and Reliability with Condition Based Maintenance and RCFA as core to the Reliability Improvement Program. Machine fault findings originating from Condition Monitoring programs are used to display equipment health; to identify risk; to action corrective work; to initiate Root Cause Analysis; to identify and correct recurring failure modes … which are the cornerstone to a successful Reliability Improvement Program. It is further supported by strategies such as Pro-Active, Precision and Operator Driven Reliability (ODR) with specific focus on the role that people and processes play in the maintenance and operational processes; particularly how this impacts on production throughput, production costs, production quality, safety and environment.

 On successful completion delegates will understand how to develop the best maintenance plans for each asset, (focusing first on the most critical items); applying fundamental and advanced practices to improve reliability and to implement feedback systems as part of reliability assurance, i.e.:
